Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

The Roman Catholic Church offers a process called RCIA (the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) whereby adults share in the discovery process.   This time is about sharing how Jesus Christ has been walking with you and what the Catholic Church teaches and believes.    Adults will share in small groups and grow in friendship with others in the community.  This process welcomes individuals looking for initiation in to the Roman Catholic Church.   Our participants welcome those who have never been baptized and those of other faith traditions.   Catholics who are looking to learn more about their faith are also welcome.   There is no fee to attend these gatherings.

At St. Ignatius we offer informal gatherings on Monday evenings from 7 pm to 8 pm in Room 114B.   These gatherings are for anyone with questions regarding faith or considering joining the Roman Catholic Church.  Interested individuals are welcome anytime throughout the year.

If you would like to talk with someone individually to see is RCIA is right for you, please call Carol Smith in Faith Formation or email her at csmith@e-stignatius.org
